Challenge

Brown Bag Crisps hand-cooks some of the UK's most characterful small-batch crisps — but on social, the product was doing all the work alone. Their Instagram ran on simple phone-shot product stills: honest, but flat against feeds built for motion, and a mismatch for packaging this distinctive and a product positioned this premium. Paid social was the bigger missed opportunity — Meta and TikTok reward movement, sound and story, and static imagery rarely survives the scroll. So we reached out with a simple pitch: a product this good deserves an ad that moves.

Solution

A ten-second, multi-shot appetite-appeal spot built for sound-on feeds. The film tells the flavour's story in one breath — earthy potatoes tumbling in slow motion, golden hand-cooked crisps caught mid-flight, then a seasoning storm cast entirely from the real recipe: onion, garlic, cracked black pepper, thyme, fennel and a whisper of cinnamon — before the pack lands for its hero moment. The palette is drawn straight from the packaging's kraft-and-terracotta warmth, and the pack appears exactly as it does on shelf, every hand-drawn letter intact. Every beat is paced for the scroll: hook in the first second, payoff at the last, cut to loop.
